Network Engineer II Alabama
The Network Engineer II is a technical specialist who receives mentoring and direction from the Lead Network Engineer, but also mentors junior level engineers. Director, Accounting & Financial Reporting Alabama

The Contract Specialist, reporting to the Assistant Director, is a highly responsible professional position, who provides technical and administrative support to maintain the contract operations for the University. The Contract Specialist requires experience in procurement and contract execution. This position will manage contract management software to execute the day-to-day processing and reviewing of University agreements/contracts. This position provides front-line customer service to assigned departments and is responsible for keeping appropriate levels of management informed of issues and coordinates/initiates required actions. Duties include negotiating contract terms and conditions with each party, analyzing potential risks involved with certain agreements/contracts and helping employees and leadership better understand the information outlined in the agreements/contracts.
Admissions Counselor Alabama
The Admissions Counselor is a member of the professional recruiting team that energetically and enthusiastically pursues and implements the recruitment and enrollment goals of the university. The Counselor provides mental health counseling with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity. They will need to be energetic to work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health through outreach events and campus-planned events. The incumbent will provide services to a very diverse population to counsel, support, and consult in regard to psychological, social, and emotional well-being, along with enhancing the student’s personal growth, development, and adjustment to University life. The Counselor will be expected to help plan and conduct suicide prevention workshops, substance abuse workshops, and other identified group needs on campus. They will collaborate with staff from Student Health Services, the university, and community service agencies in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational and outreach activities, student needs, and campus concerns. They will need exceptional time management and are expected to participate in professional development activities and training. They will provide crisis intervention and assessments when necessary, including night and weekend on-call duties as required by all other licensed professional staff in the Counseling Center.

Senior Instructional Designer Mulit-State (Detail in Comments)
The College of Business is seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Instructional Designer to consult on an hourly on-call basis to develop engaging and effective learning experiences. This position works closely with faculty members to design, develop, and enhance online courses that are engaging, effective, and meet high-quality standards. This position will ensure that our online offerings are aligned with the college’s academic goals, and provide a transformative learning experience for students. The incumbent will sSupport faculty in designing and developing instructional materials and course modules for online delivery and advise faculty and staff on the latest educational technologies to create engaging and interactive online learning environments. A high priority for this role is adapting our courses and pedagogy to leverage new and rapidly changing technologies, such as generative AI.
Transfer Admissions Counselor Alabama
The Transfer Admissions Counselor reports to the Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment and supports transfer recruitment initiatives. This position serves as the primary recruitment counselor for incoming transfer students from both 2-year and 4-year institutions. This position will build relationships with prospective transfer students and community college contacts to support undergraduate applicants to UAH from point of inquiry to enrollment. They will also plan and attend recruitment events and promote the university’s brand in their area. In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment, this will support the university’s growing transfer enrollment.
