The ASC Classroom Lead and Daytime Floater will function in two primary roles: 1) as a substitute teacher/caregiver during the UAH Early Learning Center's primary daytime program (8:00am - 2:30pm) when full-time teaching staff are absent, or providing extra assistance in classrooms when full-time staff are present, and 2) as the lead caregiver in an after school program classroom (2:30 - 5:30pm). Position duties may involve feeding children, diapering and/or assisting with potty training, administering basic first-aid for injuries, and interacting with and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children, including those with special needs.
