Operations Manager, Building Services Alabama
The Operations Manager for Building Services is a key member of UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair for the University. The employee assists the Director of Building Services (Director) with the following: • directing all daily activities related to the custodial functions of the university, including basic custodial operations, training, purchase of supplies and equipment, solid waste removal, management of human resources, budgets, procurement of supplies, window cleaning, pest control services, etc. • strategizing, analyzing, developing, resourcing, managing, improving, measuring, and reporting all functions related to custodial services including staff and contractors; • maintaining buildings and surrounding areas in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure condition to enhance the image and learning environment for the campus community; • employee must work afternoon/evening shift and some weekends as needed to oversee in-house service, contracted services, and special projects. This employee will spend the majority of their time in the field assisting with daily operations for all custodial and building services provided by Facilities and Operations.

The Regional Admissions Counselor plans and implements a student recruitment program designed to meet enrollment goals in a targeted geographic area with specific student populations. The designated territory for this position is Atlanta, Georgia). The Regional Admissions Counselor conducts programmatic and individual activities while functioning as part of the larger UAH Admissions and Recruitment team. The Regional Admissions Counselor also serves as a liaison and resource for numerous constituents, including guidance and career counselors, educators and administrators, prospective students and families, regional colleagues, community-based organizations, regional recruitment and professional organizations, alumni and parents, and campus-based staff and partners. The specific duties are as follows, and secondary responsibilities in support of the regional recruitment model and campus-based recruitment office will be assigned as needed. Office Assistant Alabama
The Salmon Library User Services Department seeks a responsible, part-time on-call employee to work at the User Services Desk. The User Services Staff Member serves the UAH community by providing circulation and collection maintenance functions, assisting with patron account questions, overseeing student workers, assisting with student engagement and outreach programs, and by providing assistance with using library resources and services through the research help desk as needed. This position includes performing all library closing procedures, assisting with projects, and other duties as assigned.

The Strategic Procurement Analyst, reporting to the Assistant Director of Procurement & Business Services, is a highly responsible, advanced professional position who will oversee and maintain the procurement operations for the University. Key Responsibilities Include: (These are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed. Assists departments in writing solicitations (RFP, ITP, RFQualifications, ITN, etc.) and exceptions (Piggybacks, Sole Sources, Exceptions, etc.). • Facilitates the solicitation process for the requesting department, which may include the following actions: makes final decision on selection of suppliers based on the experience of interviewing sales vendors, delivery dates and prices, visits to vendor facilities and ability to resolve problems of shortages and improper orders. • Maintains records of purchases and contracts to optimize opportunities for improved sources, distribution of business, prices and terms relative to changing economic conditions. • Works with the Warehouse Manager for the records of disposal of surplus inventories, scrap material and surplus or obsolete equipment. • Assists the Director/Assistant Director and all departments in developing and maintaining commodity standards for purchases. • Provides technical oversight and review to procurement staff and departments. • Performs any and all duties as assigned.
Research Scientist II Alabama

Research Associate III Alabama
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate III with a background and strong interest in environmental and water resources modeling. The successful candidate will support PIs in projects related to drought assessment and watershed scale water resource availability. The candidate is expected to be proficient in handling large scale earth observations datasets (modeled and satellite) and making hydrologic simulations. The candidate will be responsible for calibrating, validating as well as developing new capabilities within these hydrological models, and contributing to answering key scientific questions about the environment and water resources. The role also involves assisting in writing peer-reviewed research articles and developing proposals to secure funding for ongoing and future research projects.
