The position involves using AI and ML tools Neo4j and Open Target Platforms to explore and integrate transcriptome and proteome data. The researcher will have to write reports and contribute to writing scientific articles for publication. This is an on-call position for a temporary project or projects for approximately 4 months.Duties/ResponsibilitiesResearch/Experiments:• Works as a member of a collaborative group to accomplish projects in a reasonable timeframe. • Build a gene-based database in the PTSD space. • Identifies, troubleshoots, and corrects or recommends solutions to problems. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data resulting from experimentation. • Performs literature searches to develop information of relevance to the research.• Use AI and ML tools, Neo4j and Open Target Platforms to explore and integrate transcriptome and proteome data.• Prepares appropriate and understandable representations of data such as sequences, graphs, charts, etc.• Participates in the preparation of reports and presentations of the research findings, and presents at laboratory meetings. • Contributes to the preparation of scientific manuscripts by independently drafting the text, preparing graphs, tables, and charts, etc.Laboratory and Technique • Independently sets up laboratory experiments/tests, utilizing a range of established and novel methods, procedures, and techniques, and provides technical guidance and direction as required.• Contributes to the preparation of scientific manuscripts by independently drafting text, preparing graphs, tables, and charts, etc. • Implement new or modified research methods and procedures to meet the unique requirements of assigned research problems.• Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: • College Coursework preferably in Science, Engineering, or Business • Working knowledge, research, and experience writing reports, and articles for publications• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, and related software Desired Qualifications: • Master Degree in Engineering or Life Science with a strong experience in computational Biology is strongly preferred• Experience in using the Neo4j and Open Target Platform tool is desired Published Salary (if available): 8000 Advertised: Oct 30 2024 Central Daylight Time Applications close: Back to search results Apply now Refer a friend Send me jobs like these We will email you new jobs that match this search.
