Senior Staff Assistant Alabama
The Senior Staff Assistant will provide high-level financial and administrative support for the faculty and financial management for the ECE department. This position manages the operating and equipment budgets for the department, faculty and staff hiring/onboarding, purchasing, and the coordination of complex financial processes for all faculty, research, academic, and student accounts. This position also coordinates the course scheduling process for each semester and provides office support for the main departmental office/projects.
Custodian Alabama
The Custodian is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of the University. As a Custodian, the employee's primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the University's buildings. The employee’s duties will be performed full-time either within the first shift hours (5:00 AM - 1:45 PM) or the second shift hours (2:00 PM - 10:45 PM, depending on current staffing needs within the unit.
Coordinator, Field & Clinical Experiences Alabama

Key Responsibilities Include • Asset Auditing and Inventory Management Conducts physical audits of fixed assets and capital equipment across university departments and remote locations; ensures asset accuracy and proper tagging. • Departmental Assistance & Communication Works with campus departments to resolve inventory discrepancies, complete surplus and transfer forms, and provide asset management guidance. • Data Reconciliation and Analysis Reviews and reconciles asset records within the Banner financial system; identifies discrepancies and prepares audit reports. • Compliance Monitoring Ensures adherence to federal, state, and university property control regulations, including OMB Uniform Guidance and ADEPA requirements. • Mentorship and Task Leadership Assists in training and overseeing student workers or junior staff during asset verification or surplus collection activities. • Surplus Property Coordination Helps coordinate the intake, tracking, and disposition of surplus property in compliance with UAH and state surplus procedures. • Process & Systems Support Supports ongoing improvements to asset tracking processes and systems; participates in system testing and process documentation.

Accessibility Compliance Specialist Alabama
The University of Alabama in Huntsville is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accessibility Compliance Specialist to coordinate the institution's efforts in ensuring compliance with federal and state accessibility laws and regulations. The primary focus of this role will be the interpretation, implementation, and monitoring of ADA Title II (including the forthcoming digital accessibility requirements for state and local governments) and Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Advocates collaborate with leadership across the campus to identify and address educational and personal barriers that can impact student academic success. Following a cohort concept, each advisor is responsible for managing the progression of a specific group of assigned students all the way through graduation. The position will focus on those students identified as having persistence challenges, such as students on Academic Probation (or the brink of it), major selection/changes (especially across colleges), first-generation, financially challenged students, and others who are "at-risk" for persistence or graduation. Particular attention will be given to areas where UAH has historically lost a disproportionate number of students, such as first-semester transfer students, juniors, and seniors
